About Me

Murat KÖKLÜ, born in Konya in 1979. He started his undergraduate education at Selçuk University and graduated in 2002 from the Department of Computer Systems Teaching. In 2019, he obtained a second bachelor's degree from the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Technology, Selçuk University, and in 2023 he completed the Software Engineering program at the Hasan Ferdi Turgutlu Technology Faculty, Manisa Celal Bayar University, obtaining a third bachelor's degree. He also received an associate degree from the Justice Program of the Open Education Faculty of Atatürk University in 2019. He completed his master's education at the Department of Electronics and Computer Systems, Institute of Science, Selçuk University, graduating in 2005. In 2014, he earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Engineering, Selçuk University. He is currently pursuing a second doctorate in the Department of Agricultural Machines and Technologies, Institute of Science, Selçuk University. To date, KÖKLÜ has published 122 international articles in prestigious journals, 113 international conference and symposium papers, and 7 chapters in international books. He has also participated in 5 European Union, 9 TÜBİTAK, and 5 university BAP projects. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Software Department of the Computer Engineering Faculty at Selçuk University. His research areas are primarily data mining and artificial intelligence. He conducts studies aimed at extracting meaningful patterns and insights from large data sets; developing intelligent systems in predictive modeling, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning using machine learning, deep learning, and neural network‑based methods. With an interdisciplinary approach, he combines theoretical knowledge with practice, contributing to both academic and industrial work.
